Jump!

Get ready for a jump after learning where to use an Alien Hologram Pad at Risky Reels or the Sheriff's Office in Fortnite.

Use an Alien Hologram Pad at Risky Reels or the Sheriff's Office is one of the post Rift Tour quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

In an encore-fashion for the Ariana Grande concert that was available 6th to 8th August, new quests have emerged to continue with the Rift Tour premise.

Alongside the task to interact with the Rift Tour posters across five locations in the battle royale map, use an Alien Hologram Pad on top of the Party UFO, open a Cosmic Chest and use an Alien Hologram Pad at Weeping Woods or the Green Steel Bridge you can now use an Alien Hologram Pad at Risky Reels or the Sheriff's Office for another prize.

Completing this challenge will reward you with 30 XP to help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass. In addition, it will also count towards the complete post rift tour quests task.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

How to use an Alien Hologram Pad at Risky Reels or the Sheriff's Office in Fortnite

As with previous quests, it's worth mentioning that two of the post Rift Tour quests task you to play matches with friends a total of ten times and reach top 25 with a friend a total of five times. As such, we highly recommend to squad up before doing this quest so you can progress all three simultaneously.

This is a rather straightforward quest, involving the new launchpad introduced during the Rift Tour event.

You can complete the quest either in Risky Reels or the Sheriff's Office (both locations are fairly close to each other, too). Below you'll find the locations at a glance:

Over at Risky Reels, which is the location west of Corny Complex, the Alien Hologram Pad can be found on the children's playground located northwestern corner.

If you opt for the Sheriff's Office instead, the spot can be found in the backyard of the house, next to the loo. For reference, the Sheriff's Office is northwest of Lazy Lake.

We recommend you to jump from the battle bus and head towards either of these locations to save time. The pad itself can be seen from a long distance, so you won't have troubles spotting it.

All that is left to do is walk towards it - unlike the party UFO one, this Alien Hologram Pad will turn you into a bouncing bubble (you can just attack your way out of it). That's all for the quest!

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is here and with it comes Force Abilites and Lightsabers in the Star Wars 2023 event and a new selection of Battle Pass skins! Take a look at the Eren Jaeger skin too! If this is something you want, take a look at our challenge guides that show you the Jaeger's Family Basement location, plus how to find and use ODM Gear. Don't forget to complete the new challenges, including winning arcade games, knocking back players with the Kinetic Blade, shooting targets while on a Grind Rail and restoring health or shields on a Grind Rail. Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are, new map changes, how to get XP fast, use the best PC settings, earn the Victory Umbrella and earn a Victory Crown.
