Fortnite mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed location

Where to search between a mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed Fortnite.

Finding the mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed location is your objective in another of Fortnite's Weekly Challenges.

Solving the puzzle will grant you some extra XP for earning your many Season 7 rewards, as well as Battle Stars for progressing your Battle Pass.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include red and blue lines on the Fortnite map and Rebuilding quests, including finding and destroying a IO Build Jammer. You can also learn how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Fortnite mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed location

The mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed location is in the north-east of the map.

Specifically you need to go east of Wailing Woods, in map segment J3:

There is a hill east of the forest, with a lone tree on the north side, and a patch of bare earth on the south side.

It's this bare patch you should be aiming for.

Land there, and the Battle Star should appear.

Grab it with the button prompt that appears, and the mysterious hatch, giant rock lady and a precarious flatbed location is complete. Job done!

Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Prowler skin, along with the return of jetpacks and Choppas. Star Wars have returned to Fortnite! There are Star Wars skins and challenges to enjoy, along with lightsabers appearing across the island. As we enter Season 2's final month, it's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite. You can also complete Resistance challenges, including collecting signal jammers and finding an energy fluctuation. Don't forget about the Seasonal challenges, which include planting saplings and call an Air Strike on a tank. Meanwhile Victory Crowns and the character collection have returned, along with a new Victory Umbrella to earn.

A final note: as with the other challenges, you must complete this one as you play matches of Battle Royale - you cannot enter the map without other players - so once again you'll need to avoid combat encoutners as you attempt to find the location, but using one of the big team modes is definitely an easier way to do so safely.

If you're struggling, wait a couple of weeks until most other players have earned it so you have less competition, or try one of the Limited Time Modes, which often splits teams across the map more than standard modes do.

Once you are done, there are plenty of other Challenges to try this week. Good luck!
