Fortnite Foraged Mushroom locations, as well as Apple, Banana, Coconut and Pepper locations explained

Where to find various consumable flora on Fortnite's map.

Finding Foraged Mushroom, Apple Banana, Coconut and Pepper locations are consumables in Fortnite, and often the source of reoccuring Challenges.

Finding a set amount of them will reward you with XP to help go towards your many Season rewards.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Best Foraged Mushroom locations in Fortnite

In Fortnite, Mushrooms will top up your shield by five points. Though it's a little laborious to completely fill your shield gauge this way, it might be helpful to eat a couple while you are on the way to your next destination.

Finding Fortnite Mushroom locations is a semi-regular challenge across seasons, with Foraged Mushroom locations being one in Season X in particular.

They are a little rarer than Apples, but if you're looking for some specific locations, we can recommend Lonely Lodge, where they spawn throughout the location.

Best Apple locations in Fortnite

In Fortnite, Apples help replenish your health. This red crispy fruit will replenish your health by five points. Nothing major, but useful if you need a little top up, or need anything if you're close to death's door.

Finding Fortnite Apple locations is also a reoccurring challenge. In short, apples spawn near trees, and though they are fairly common, that doesn't mean they appear everywhere on the map.

If you are looking for the quickest and best Apple locations, then we recommend Fatal Fields. Apples spawn around the east and even in the middle of the named location, meaning you are just a stone's throw away from some Chests and other items to keep you in the match.

Best Fortnite Banana locations and Coconut locations

Fortnite Bananas and Coconuts were introduced in the game at the same time, and serve two different functions. Apples give you five points of health, while Coconuts give you five health or five shield points - the latter if your health is completely full.

Another difference is while Bananas are ready for collecting from the ground, Coconuts only appear when you strike the tall trees they're growing from, dropping them down to earth. Not every tree will produce them - if it doesn't on the initial strike, move onto the next.

You'll find both Banana and Coconut locations in largely the same places - the hotter, more tropical pastures of the map.

If you're in a rush, then Lazy Lagoon is your best bet. Bananas regularly spawn on the islands at the named location, while tall trees the Coconuts grow from appear at the beaches.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is here! It brings a free Lego Insider skin and redemption codes with it, along with a new Victory Umbrella. We've also got pages on new features like Medallions, Weapon Mods, and how to complete a Train Heist. Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are in the current season, how to get XP fast, and what the best PC settings are to help earn a Victory Crown.

Best Fortnite Pepper locations

Fortnite Peppers were added to the game at the same time as Bananas and Coconuts. Consuming a Pepper will add five points of health and give you a temporary little speed boost.

To find Pepper locations, you'll want to go to the desert part of the map. They are pretty hard to find, so if you want our recommendation for the best Pepper location, head to the oasis in the southern half of the desert, not far from where the road runs through.

If they don't spawn around the oasis, then run along where the river flows to the east, where some are likely to appear on the edges.

Again, they're pretty rare, but don't be too discouraged if you can't find them - stick to the desert and they'll turn up soon enough!
