Superman is Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7's special skin, like Neymar Jr, Predator and Wolverine before him.

Alongside the Superman skin, you'll be able to collect a series of items all inspired by the Man of Steel - from the Daily Planet back bling to Kal-El's Cape glider. This involves a series of challenges with the company of Beast Boy and Armored Batman.

Below you'll find how to unlock Superman in Fortnite as well as his two Shadow forms, along with a complete list of all the Superman cosmetic items you can obtain.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

How to unlock Superman in Fortnite

First of all, if you want to get the Superman skin in Fortnite, then you must first buy the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass. Without the Battle pass, you won't be able to take part in the associated challenges.

After purchasing the Battle Pass, and starting Tuesday, August 10th, you can access a series of Superman quests. These unlock not only the skin, but other related rewards upon their completion as well.

In order to unlock the Superman skin, you must complete the following quest:

  • Complete quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy (5 total)

This is done by talking to any of them in battle royale and accepting their quests, which can range from flying a saucer to using a launchpad during the match. Once completed, it will count towards Superman quest's completion.

It's worth noting that the superheroes were not immediately present as NPCs in the game upon release - luckily, there's a workaround that can be of help.

In addition, there is an array of cosmetic items to unlock either by completing Superman or epic quests:

  • Complete quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy (1 total): Call to Action emoticon
  • Complete quests from Clark Kent, Armored Batman, or Beast Boy (3 total): Superman Shield emoticon
  • Glide through rings as Clark Kent (5 total): The Daily Planet back bling
  • Use a phone booth as Clark Kent (1 total): Secret Identity built-in emote
  • Complete epic quests (10 total): Kal-El's Cape glider
  • Complete epic quests (20 total): Banner Icon
  • Complete epic quests (30 total): The Last Son of Krypton loading screen
  • Complete epic quests (40 total): Solitude Striker harvesting tool
  • Complete epic quests (50 total): Clark Kent (Shadow) skin

It's worth noting that the original number of required quests for the latter five rewards used to be higher, but developer Epic confirmed the new values on Wednesday, August 25th. Less grind!
