Everything we know about Hisuian Voltorb

Hisuian Voltorb is a regional variant of Voltorb which hails from the Hisui region and made its debut in Pokémon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch. It was released into Pokémon Go on Sunday, 30th January to celebrate the release of Legends: Arceus.

Unlike your typical Voltorb, Hisuian Voltorb is an electric and grass-type Pokémon and, at the time of writing, it can't evolve in Pokémon Go. In Legends: Arceus, however, it can evolve into a Hisuian Electrode, which keeps the electric and grass-typing.

Hisuian Voltorb resembles the Poké Balls used in Legends: Arceus - having a proper wooden appearance rather than the metallic look of Gen 1 Voltorb.

In Pokémon Go, Hisuian Voltorb can, like all Pokémon, use a variety of Fast and Charged moves:
