Fortnite - How to visit radar dish bases in a single match explained

Which bases you need to visit to complete this challenge.

Visiting every radar dish base in a single match is one of the Week 13 epic quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

If you want to complete this challenge, you must first repair the IO equipment, build 25 structures at Corny Complex, destroy the stolen intel and get Marigold's message from the dead drop.

Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you collect more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

How to visit five radar dish bases in a single match in Fortnite

While visiting five radar dish bases, also known as IO bases, in a single match in Fortnite may seem like a hard challenge at first, it's actually quite easy to complete if you snag the right UFO.

The UFO in question can be found sitting in the carpark of Steamy Stacks in every match. You'll want to make this your first destination at the beginning of the match to ensure you both get the UFO and have enough time to complete the challenge.

Grab this UFO!

Once you're in the UFO, you need to visit these bases in this order:

  1. East of Craggy Cliffs
  2. Base inside the former Stealthy Stronghold
  3. West of Fort Crumpet - the landmark west of Believer Beach
  4. East of Weeping Woods
  5. South of Sludgy Swamp
Visit the bases in this order.

Thankfully, you don't need to actually leave the UFO to have these bases count towards the challenge. Instead, you simply have to hover over the base for a second and the challenge counter should appear. If, however, it doesn't, try descending your UFO to ensure it counts.

Don't worry about the UFO's battery life either - it will last for the entire trip as long as you don't get distracted from your mission. If you are shot down by another player, you may, depending on how far you are in the challenge, still be able to complete the challenge by using the IO cars found in the bases.

The UFO battery will last for the whole trip.

Remember - you must five IO bases in a single match to complete this challenge and the counter will reset if you leave, are eliminated or abandon the challenge!
