Fortnite - IO car locations: Where to leave an IO car at an alien settlement
Nothing like a bit of joy riding.
Leaving an IO car at an alien settlement is the fourth of Week 13's legendary quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. You have a week to complete this challenge, so make sure you meet the deadline!
To reach this challenge, you must first open a mission kit and place a jammer outside the IO base in one match, leave secret documents at a bus stop and talk with either Joey, Sunny or Dreamflower.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass. With this completed, you can now deploy pallets with Cat Food around the IO base.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.
IO car locations in Fortnite explained
IO cars can easily be found at the various IO bases scattered across the Fortnite map. It should be noted that this challenge can be completed using IO cars not found at the bases - i.e. ones moved by players.
For this legendary quest, we recommend taking one of the IO cars from the base located on the north-western tip of the island - just beyond Fort Crumpet. Since this base is the closest to Holly Hatchery, which is the alien settlement you need to leave the car in.
All you have to do is land near one of the cars, jump in the driving seat, drive south till you reach Holly Hatchery and exit the car once you're within the boundary of this settlement.
We recommend attempting this challenge at the beginning of the match, because it will give you the best chance of finding one of the IO cars.
