UK charts: jackpot for Vegas 2

Full Chart-Track top 40 inside.

Tom Clancy is riding high in the charts this week with Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

He's abseiled into the number one spot ahead of previous leader Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Vegas 2 has become the fourth fastest selling Xbox 360 game ever, behind Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Assassin's Creed - but ahead of Gears of War.

Activision tag-team Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero III are settling for three and four, with Brain Training doing sums at five and Carnival: Funfair Games making itself sick at six.

Wii Play rectified its MIA status from last week to take seven, Army of Two fell from two down to eight, and FIFA 08 climbed slightly to nine.

Fresh entry SEGA Superstars Tennis rounds off the chart at 10.

Further down, and the release of a Wii version of CSI: Hard Evidence boosts it to 24 with fingerprints, joined by the arrival of movie tie-in The Spiderwick Chronicles, which gains popularity alongside the theatrical big-screen release.

Resistance: Fall of Man manages to resurface at 30 thanks to some retail promotion, as does Halo 3, with added incentives from special Easter weekend online events and upcoming map packs.

Big smiling movers are Assassin's Creed up from 22 to 16, and The Simpsons Game up from 27 to 14.

Big frowning movers are Frontlines: Fuel of War down from 15 to 33, and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty down from 17 to 35.

Those bumped off the bottom of the charts include No More Heroes, Lost Odyssey, Dynasty Warriors 6 and Devil May Cry 4.
