Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

How to interact with equipment at any IO radar dish base in Fortnite explained

For this particular challenge, there is a total of seven IO bases for you to visit and complete the task. You only have to do this once, so feel free to take your pick and go to the nearest one during your travels.

At a glance, you can find the locations below:

So, what exactly is the equipment, then? While the quest does not specify it, the task refers to orange screens that are usually placed on the antennas of each area.

You can see an example of them in the IO base located southeast of Misty Meadows, found in the western side of the antenna tower.

Just east of Weeping Woods, you can also find equipment to interact with in the northern side of the tower.

Southwest of Dirty Docks, you'll find another screen next to the dish once more, this time facing south.

These are only three of the seven spots available. If you're having trouble with this quest by bumping into other players, we recommend the IO base southwest of Slurpy Swamp, which is fairly secluded from the rest of the areas.
