How to unlock the Grav in Warzone

As it tends to be the norm with new weapons in the battle pass, the Grav can be unlocked either by leveling up the battle pass or by purchasing a blueprint.

In order to unlock the Grav, you need to get to Tier 31 in the battle pass.

It's a rather straightforward task, but admittedly, it can be time-consuming. If you're playing Black Ops Cold War, we recommend you to complete 24/7 modes as well as Team Deathmatch playlists. They won't take long in terms of match length, and you can always get good XP from them, which makes for a good balance.

If you're opting for just Warzone, choosing Plunder over battle royale is a must, as it will allow you to revive throughout the match and get most out of each session. But either battle royale or Rebirth modes will work just fine, too. Up to you!

Best Warzone Grav loadout and attachments

Below are our recommendations for an optimal Grav loadout, as well as the corresponding levels for each:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor (Unlocks at level 46)
  • Barrel: 21.3" Task Force (Unlocks at level 50)
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x (Unlocks at level 22)
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip (Unlocks at level 41)
  • Magazine: 50 Rnd (Unlocks early on)

Let's start with the muzzle. You'll want to equip the Agency Suppressor for this one, as it improves vertical recoil control as well as increasing both bullet velocity and damage range - in addition to sound suppression, of course. It comes with an impact to aim down sight speed and the overall aiming stability, but not by much.

Let's move onto the barrel. We opted for the 21.3" Task Force, which increases damage range, bullet velocity and both vertical and horizontal control. In return, it trades hip fire accuracy, and ADS, sprinting and aim walking movement speeds. Still, it's worth the inclusion and the overall build balances it out.

No laser or stock this time around. Instead, we recommend pairing the Grav with an optic. We've found the Axial Arms 3x to be the best option, granting zoom magnification with a decent iron sight. But as always, this comes down to personal preference.

In the underbarrel slot, the Field Agent Grip is perfect to add extra horizontal and vertical recoil control. This attachment choice comes with the caveat of reducing regular and ADS firing move speeds slightly, but not by a ton.

Lastly, opting for the 50 Rnd attachment is the best choice for the weapon's ammunition. It decreases reload quickness, but it's worth having the maximum round increase.

Best Warzone Grav class setup, perks and equipment

Here's our choices for the best items - such as equipment and Perks - to make the best Grav class setup in Warzone:

  • Perk 1: Quick Fix (Unlocks at level 42)
  • Perk 2: Overkill (Unlocks at level 38)
  • Perk 3: Amped (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: Swiss K31 (Unlocks by getting 2 Headshot kills in 15 different completed matches using any sniper rifle)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Lethal: Claymore (Unlocks at level 1)

The Grav has a great fire rate and bullet velocity, which means it won't take you long to take down enemies. For this, we recommend starting health regeneration immediately after with Quick Fix. As always, if level 42 sounds a bit steep, we recommend opting for E.O.D., as it will help to mitigate damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire until you can unlock this perk.

We recommend opting for Overkill as the second perk. On this occasion we went for the Swiss K31 as our secondary choice. It's a fast and snappy rifle that can make for a great combo with the primary weapon.

For the third perk, we went for Amped over the others to ensure that you're switching between the two weapons as swiftly as possible.

Lastly, the Heartbeat Sensor is a perfect companion to prepare yourself ahead of time or track anyone who dared to escape from your line of sight. In case anyone manages to sneak past your vicinity, however, having a Claymore placed near you should provide for a helping hand when needed.
