Warzone best Type 100 loadout: Type 100 class setup and how to unlock the Type 100 in Warzone

Type O negative.

Build the perfect Warzone Type 100 loadout with our class set up recommendation.

The Type 100 is an SMG that debuted in Call of Duty: Vanguard's release lineup, and it's one of the best options in the weapon category that you can find in Warzone.

While Assault Rifles are always a part of Vanguard's best weapons, SMGs tend to be the second popular choice. For some players, and depending on the mode you're playing, an SMG is more than enough to confront the enemy team, and this option is top of the list with the right attachments.

This page will cover how to unlock the Type 100 in the quickest way possible, and the best Type 100 loadout and Type 100 class recommendations to enhance its capabilities even further.

How to unlock the Type 100 in Warzone

The task to get your hands on the Type 100 is straightforward enough as it doesn't involve any challenges.

In order to unlock the Type 100, you have to reach Player Level 39, which can be done easily if you're patient enough.

For this, we recommend any multiplayer mode, really - from Team Deathmatch playlists to Zombies, it's up to you. If you happen to have XP boosters make sure to use them to make the most out of each match.

Best Warzone Type 100 loadout and attachments

Below are our recommendations for an optimal Type 100 loadout, as well as the corresponding levels for each:

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Shiraishi 374mm
  • Optic: Slate Reflector (Unlocks at level 8)
  • Stock: Warubachi Skeletal
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 8mm Kurz 40 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened (Unlocks at level 62)
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Proficiency: Sleight of Hand (Unlocks at level 32)
  • Kit: Fully Loaded (Unlocks at level 42)

Let's start with the muzzle. You'll want to equip the F8 Stabilizer for this one, which adds +2 accuracy and +1 damage range to the weapon. You'll get -1 to sprint to fire speed and -1 to hip fire accuracy as a result, but they're small cons in comparison.

As for the barrel, we opted for the Shiraishi 374mm, which increases recoil control and accuracy, as well as adding reduced scope way and gun bob and improving flinch resistance. As a result aim down sight, movement and sprint to fire speeds are all affected, but it's worth the inclusion regardless.

As per usual the optic is up for preference - we've found the Slate Reflector to be a well rounded option for this, but again, up to you.

In the stock slot, we went for the Warubachi Skeletal. This adds +2 to sprint to fire speed as well as +1 to movement speed. You'll get -1 initial accuracy and recoil, but this is balanced out.

The M1941 Hand Stop attachment makes for a great choice in terms of the underbarrel. It adds +1 to recoil control and +1 accuracy, while only decreasing -1 of hip fire accuracy.

For the magazine, we recommend equipping the 8mm Kurz 40 Round Drums. This will grant you 30 rounds as well as +2 bullet velocity and +1 damage, +1 bullet penetration and +1 magazine ammo capacity. It comes with the cost of -5 recoil control and accuracy, -3 aim down sight speed, -2 movement speed and -2 fire rate, but it's worth having.

Then, Lengthened makes for a great ammo type as it adds +3 to bullet velocity.

As for the rear grip, we'll be gaining +1 to hip fire accuracy and +2 to recoil control thanks to the Pine Tar Grip. It comes with the cost of -1 to ADS speed, but it's a minor con.

When it comes down to proficiency for this build, Sleight of Hand will help you with +1 to reload quickness.

Lastly, we went for Fully Loaded in the kit category, making you start with maximum reserve ammo.

If you're interested in multiplayer, we have lists of the Operators and multiplayer maps, as well as the best Vanguard weapons, including the best STG44 loadout, best MP40 loadout and best Automaton loadout, best BAR loadout, best Combat Shotgun loadout, best Type 100 loadout, and best Kar98k loadouts. Best Warzone Type 100 class setup, perks and equipment

Here's our choices for the best items - such as equipment and Perks - to make the best Type 100 class setup in Warzone:

  • Perk 1: E.O.D. (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Perk 2: Overkill (Unlocks at level 38)
  • Perk 3: Amped (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: STG44 (Unlocks by reaching Player Level 1)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Lethal: Claymore (Unlocks at level 1)

For the STG44, we recommend opting for E.O.D., as it will help to mitigate damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.

We recommend opting for Overkill as the second perk. On this occasion we went for the STG44 as our secondary choice. For anyone who suddenly shows up far from you, switching to this to better focus on long range is a must have. But again, it's opt to you.

For the third perk, we went for Amped over the others to ensure that you're switching between the two weapons as swiftly as possible.

Lastly, the Heartbeat Sensor is a perfect companion to prepare yourself ahead of time or track anyone who dared to escape from your line of sight. In case anyone manages to sneak past your vicinity, however, having a Claymore placed near you should provide for a helping hand when needed.
