How to unlock the Cooper Carbine in Warzone and Vanguard

The task to get your hands on the Cooper Carbine is fairly easy without any challenges involved.

In order to unlock the Cooper Carbine in Warzone and Vanguard, you need to get to tier 15 of the season one battle pass.

This is common occurrence with new battle passes that introduce new weapons as tier rewards. For this, we recommend to just play either Warzone or Vanguard across any modes of your preference. It won't be a lighting fast process, but it shouldn't take too long.

Best Vanguard, Warzone Cooper Carbine loadout and attachments

Below are our recommendations for an optimal Cooper Carbine loadout, as well as the corresponding levels for each:

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: 8" Ragdoll Short
  • Optic: Slate Reflector (Unlocks at level 17)
  • Stock: Cooper 45RS
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop (Unlocks at level 23)
  • Magazine: .30 Carbine 45 Round Mags (Unlocks at level 69)
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened (Unlocks at level 62)
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip (Unlocks at level 67)
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded (Unlocks at level 42)

Let's start with the muzzle. You'll want to equip the Mercury Silencer for this one, which adds +1 sound suppression and +1 recoil control. Your damage range will be decreased by 1, but it's compensated.

Onto the barrel. We opted for the 8" Ragdoll Short, which improves aim down sight, aim walking movement and sprint to fire speeds. Fire rate and recoil control and accuracy are hit slightly as a return, but it's worth the inclusion.

The optic is up for preference - we've found the Slate Reflector to be a well rounded option for this assault rifle, but again, your choice!

In the stock slot, we went for the Cooper 45RS, as it adds +2 initial accuracy and recoil, +1 ADS speed and +1 recoil recovery, compensating the cons from the barrel. In return, you'll be hit by -1 hip fire accuracy and -1 accuracy and recoil during sustained fire.

The M1941 Hand Stop attachment makes for an optimal choice in terms of the underbarrel. It adds +1 to recoil control and +1 accuracy, while only decreasing -1 of hip fire accuracy.

For the magazine, we recommend the .30 Carbine 45 Round Mags attachment. Aside from giving you 45 rounds, it adds +2 to bullet velocity and range, +1 to bullet penetration and +1 damage. It comes with a cost of -5 recoil control and accuracy, -2 fire rate, -1 to movement and -3 to ADS speed. But it's worth having it as the rest of the build compensates most of these.

Then, Lengthened makes for a great ammo type as it adds +3 to bullet velocity, complimenting the muzzle.

As for the rear grip, we'll be gaining +2 recoil recovery and +1 initial accuracy and recoil thanks to the Stippled Grip.

When it comes down to proficiency, Vital will help you with +1 increased area for critical hits.

Lastly, we opted for Fully Loaded in the kit category, making you start with maximum reserve ammo.

Best Vanguard, Warzone Cooper Carbine class setup, perks and equipment

Here's our choices for the best items - such as equipment and Perks - to make the best Cooper Carbine class setup in Vanguard and Warzone:

  • Perk 1: E.O.D. (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Perk 2: Overkill (Unlocks at level 38)
  • Perk 3: Amped (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: MP40 (Unlocks by reaching Player Level 16)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Lethal: Claymore (Unlocks at level 1)

For the BAR, we recommend opting for E.O.D., as it will help to mitigate damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.

We recommend opting for Overkill as the second perk. On this occasion we went for the MP40 as our secondary choice. For anyone who suddenly shows up close to you, switching to this to better focus on close range makes for an intriguing combo. But again, it's opt to you!

For the third perk, we went for Amped over the others to ensure that you're switching between the two weapons as swiftly as possible.

Lastly, the Heartbeat Sensor is a perfect companion to prepare yourself ahead of time or track anyone who dared to escape from your line of sight. In case anyone manages to sneak past your vicinity, however, having a Claymore placed near you should provide for a helping hand when needed.
