Fortnite Fish Trophiy locations: Where are Fish Trophies in Fortnite?
You need to dance under a total of seven Fish Trophies to compelte this week's challenge - we've found eight so far, although it's worth noting that there may actually be more, making your life a little easier.
Here are 8 Fish Trophies we've found so far - enough to complete the challenge:
Specifically, these are found in the following locations.
Wailing Woods, in the underground bunker, on the upper of the two levels in a little side room:
Lonely Lodge, In the entrance of the lodge itself, just inside:
Retail Row, there are three separate ones here. A giant one on the outside of the eastern strip mall, then one inside the north end of that building on the ground level, and one up the stairs above it:
Dusty Divot, in the warehouse building, upstairs in the small corner office at the eastern end of the building:
Salty Springs, in a house on the western outskirts of town, downstairs in the basement:
Tilted Towers, in the derelict building, on a broken platform at street level near the centre of the building, on the floor rather than on a wall:
Shigty Shafts, in a small building on stilts at the eastern end of the area:
Greasy Grove, in the store in the centre of town on the ground floor:
Already done? There are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week - so keep playing!
Right now there's the Avengers Endgame event. Meanwhile, the latest Fortnite Week 8 Challenges include Ice Sculptures, Three Dinosaurs and Four Hot Springs locations, Fortnite Jigsaw Puzzle locations, the Paradise Palm Treasure Map location, and how to Dial the Durr Burger and Pizza Pit number on big telephones. There are also pirate camp locations and Fortnite Discovery Battle Star locations to find, too, the latter of which will help you unlock the Ruin skin. How to dance under different Fish Trophies in Fortnite
For the Week 8 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:
- Dance under different Fish Trophies (7 total, 10 Battle Stars)
It's a pretty simple challenge, but if you're new to Fortnite there are a couple of basics just to bear in mind.
First, you don't have to dance under all seven Fish Trophies in one match - completing them over time, or even the course of your entire Battle Pass, will be just fine.
Second, you have to dance under different ones, of course - you can't just dance under the same Fish Trophy seven times (as the wording of the challenge makes pretty clear), and you also have to dance under them in different locations as well, so whilst there are three in Retail Row, in our experience only one of those counted.
Third, you might be wondering how to dance if you're new to the game, but thankfully it's simple enough. To do so, bring up the Emotes wheel (press B on PC), and then select an emote that makes your character dance. You'll get a pop up on your screen when you've successfully danced in front of one, so you'll know when it works!
Finally, it's worth clarifying what a Fish Trophy is, for those who aren't such keen anglers! Fish Trophies are mounted fish on the wall, that animate when you pass in front of them, so look for a fish roughly a foot long mounted on a plaque of wood - aside from the giant one on the building in Retail Row of course!
If you are struggling, then we recommend trying it one of the LTM modes - such as 50v50 - which splits the map so you're surrounded by other friendly players more often, meaning you won't be obstructed from working your way around the map and getting on with the challenge.
