Finding the Retail Row treasure map location is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 3 rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. There are, however, other Fortnite Challenges as part of Fortnite Season 7, including Chilly Gnome locations and Expedition Outpost locations. Other new additions include Fortnite plane locations and Snowfall secret Battle Star locations.

How the Retail Row treasure map works

For the Week 7 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

  • Follow the treasure map in Retail Row (1 total, 10 Battle Stars)

Another on the list during Week 7 includes the search for the Hidden Gnome in different Named Locations.

Retail Row hides a map that paves the way to a hidden treasure. Note only those with the Battle Pass will be able to see it, and on it features a diagram of where the treasure can be found.

However, you can skip this first step and go straight to the treasure location - as explained later on this page - if you prefer to do so.

As with other challenges, you must do these as you play matches - you cannot enter the map without other players - so you'll have to avoid combat encounters as you attempt to find each location.

You can unlock Fortnite Season 7 skins and emotes with each week's set of Fortnite Challenges - the latest including Chilly Gnome locations and Expedition Outpost locations. Other recent additions include Fortnite plane locations and Snowfall secret Battle Star locations.

Retail Row treasure map location

Retail Row is located near the centre of the map, off to the west.

However, you don't need to go here first. The map features a maze, which you can find in the centre of Wailing Woods in the north-east of the map.

Head to the maze. To find the treasure, specifically you'll want to go the maze's lower left corner (south west)...

Then head north, to the dead end just ahead.

When you find the right spot the treasure will appear on the screen. Use the button prompt that appears on the screen to collect it.

Note you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished. Quitting the match as soon as you collect it won't work, so make sure you keep going.

Use the opportunity to complete other Challenges, perhaps, or simply try and finish as high as you can!
