Army of Two becomes one

Full Chart-Track UK top 40 inside.

Army of Two has riot-shielded its way to the top of the UK Charts.

Two-thirds of copies sold were for Xbox 360. It's the first original EA IP to reach number one since Black two years ago.

Bully: Scholarship Edition - which is really rather good if a little buggy - makes an entry at four, while fresh PC expansion Dawn of War: Soulstorm pops in at eight. That rather surprised us.

Other newcomers are MX vs ATV Untamed at 18 and Dynasty Warriors 6 at 19. The former we suggest trying before buying, while the latter we solidly recommend.

Otherwise the charts look more or less the same. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games suffers a knee injury and falls to two, knocking Brain Training to three. Call of Duty holds the line at five, relegating rival faction Frontlines to six.

Somehow the dreadful mini-game compilation Game Party managed to claw its way from 13 to seven.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 performs consistently to hold on at nine while the thrills of Lost wear off and it tumbles to 10, rounding off the list of leaders.

Notable movers include FIFA Street 3, falling behind big brother FIFA 08, plus Devil May Cry 4, Turok, Maths and Sight Training - dropping over 10 places each.

Unreal Tournament III takes a rather hefty fall from 14 to 33, too.
