E3: Sony Qore accidentally outs PSP Go

16GB mem, Bluetooth, MGS, GT, Jak...

Sony's new handheld is indeed called PSP Go and has up to 16GB of flash memory and Bluetooth support for tethering to mobile phones.

That's according to Sony's own Qore gaming show, the latest episode of which was posted prematurely and then yanked, but not before the internet pounced on it.

A snippet of video that has since popped up on YouTube includes mentions of Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Jak & Daxter and Metal Gear games.

The Sony man talking about it also says that the PSP-3000 will be kept on the market.

Eurogamer's in-house pals at the Digital Foundry blog have also done some digging and unearthed high-resolution snaps of the PSP Go.

With the slide closed, the unit has a visible Wi-Fi indicator in the top left next to the screen, as well as a PS button in the bottom left, and a Bluetooth indicator in the top right, with low-profile shoulder buttons along the top.

When the screen slides up, it reveals a d-pad and analogue nub, start/select buttons and the traditional arrangement of four face buttons.

We've previously been told to expect 8GB and 16GB models, but presumably we'll find out more on Tuesday at Sony's conference - tune into the site at 7pm BST / 8pm CET for live coverage.

Condolences to whoever hit the button early.
