Resident Evil 7 hits Xbox Game Pass in September

Out of redfield.

Microsoft has announced a raft of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future, and the headline addition is Resident Evil 7.

Capcom's superb horror game launches on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on 3rd September, Microsoft said.

Also of note: Paradox's grand strategy game Crusader Kings 3 launches on Xbox Game Pass for PC on 1st September.

Meanwhile, Battletoads hits Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on 20th August - that's tomorrow! Also on that date, Crossing Souls and Darksiders: Genesis launch on Xbox Game Pass for PC. Don't Starve: Giant Edition arrives on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC then, too.

A day later, on 21st August, platformer New Super Lucky's Tale hits Xbox Game Pass for console and PC. Then, on 27th August, Hypnospace Outlaw and Tell Me Why: Chapter 1 both arrive on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.

Moving on to 28th August, we have Double Kick Heroes and inXile's squad-based role-playing game Wasteland 3 for Xbox Game Pass on console and PC.

That's what's coming, but what's going? Here's the list:

Leaving 31st August:

  • Creature in the Well (console & PC)
  • Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Director's Cut (console)
  • Metal Gears Solid 2 & 3 HD (console)
  • Metro: Last Light Redux (console)
  • The Jackbox Party Pack 3 (console)

Leaving 1st September:

  • NBA 2K20 (console)

Leaving 7th September:

  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (console)

Right! That's a lot of Xbox Game Pass. Not a bad month, eh? Anything take your fancy?
