Resident Evil PS2 special edition revealed for US release

Get your pre-orders in.

A limited edition PlayStation 2 version of Resident Evil 4 has been confirmed for the game's North American release, costing exactly the same as the regular edition ($49.99).

It's not known exactly how 'limited' this special edition will be, but those that do manage to pick it up will be granted a bonus 'Making of' DVD, a limited edition Laser Cell of Ada Wong, as well as Brady Games' Resident Evil Prologue. Freebie goodness, in other words.

We checked with Capcom Eurosoft to find out whether there's any plans for a similar edition for the game's PAL release on November 4th, but the UK representative was unable to furnish us with a definitive response as yet.

Check back for more new soon, and also look out for our first look at the PS2 conversion later this month.
