Last Beatles: RB instruments revealed

Lennon's guitar costs 90 quid.

EA, MTV and Harmonix have replicated the guitars used by John Lennon and George Harrison for The Beatles: Rock Band.

Lennon's Rickenbacker 325 and Harrison's Gretsch Duo Jet will cost 90 quid apiece and join the Höfner bass (as used by Sir Paul) and Ludwig pearl-finished drums to complete the full wireless set. Imagine all the people playing those.

The Beatles: Rock Band launches for PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 on 9th September. A Limited Edition Premium Bundles containing game, bass, drums, microphone and "special content" will cost GBP 179.99 / EUR 199.99.

A special pre-order club can be accessed on The Beatles: Rock Band website by using a retailer code offered when reserving a copy. This appears to be limited to US shops at the moment.

There's no tracklist for The Beatles: Rock Band yet, but reports claim there will be previously unheard of material to which to bop along.
