While you might be well aware of Humble's penchant for letting you buy a big batch of games for the price of your choosing, the site has gone and one-upped itself now with a quartet of games available absolutely free for the next week-and-a-bit.
The games in question - Knight Club, Hitchhiker, Quiet City and Uurnog - are part of the Humble Trove, an ever-expanding range of games that Humble Monthly subscribers have access to at no extra cost.
As you've probably seen mentioned here before (countless times, I'd wager), the Humble Monthly subscription costs $12 / £10 and will get you a fresh stack of PC games each and every month. This month's offering is Destiny 2 with further games headed to subscribers at the end of the month. The Trove is an extra cavalcade of games that are always up for grabs to Monthly subscribers. Games currently in the Trove include X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, Wasteland, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Gone Home, Shadowrun Returns, Volgarr The Viking and lots more. They're all DRM-free as well.
As for the four freebies you can get right now: Knight Club is a two-to-four-player action platformer in the vein of Towerfall or Samurai Gunn, with nine stages and a variety of weapons, each with their own movesets. Hitchhiker is a mystery involving a lot of driving, voice acting and amnesia that puts players in the role of a hitchhiker learning who he is through a variety of odd circumstances.
Quiet City is a love letter to ASCII games of yore, letting players explore the titular quiet city for themselves. The less said about this one in advance of actually playing it, the better. Finally we have Uurnog, the game that is currently playing havoc with my spell check - a 2D platformer featuring algorithmic adaptive music, puzzles and, unsurprisingly, platforming.
If any of that sounds like your kind of thing, all of these games can be grabbed for free from the Humble Trove page.
For something a little less digital, you can check out today's best deals over at Jelly Deals, which feature Blade Runner 2049 on Blu-ray for £9.99, 25 per cent off Jameson whiskey, five movies for £30 and a whole lot more.
