The Pokémon Go Fest 2020 puzzle, much like the Go Weekly Friendship Challenges, is part of the celebrations running up to Go Fest itself.
Released via Niantic Twitter, the puzzle challenges you to create a code by solving a series of Pokémon Go related clues.
Once you've completed the promo code, you can use it to redeem an in-game prize!

Pokémon Go Fest 2020 puzzle explained
The Pokemon Go Fest 2020 puzzle consists of 13 clues that will be released from Thursday 16th July to Wednesday 22nd July.
Originally the puzzle was going to be 14 clues long, but, on Tuesday 21st July, Niantic announced that it was shortening the puzzle down to 12 clues, with the last still being released on Wednesday 22nd July.
This was then increased to 13 clues when, one Wednesday, 22nd July, Niantic revealed that they had accidentally skipped a clue. This missing clue would be placed at number six, shifting every digit in the code after this number forward by one. This also resulted in the deadline for the last clue being moved to Thursday, 23rd July.
Each clue is assigned to a specific number in a 13 character code. This means that clue six, for example, will give you the sixth character in the code.
To discover what character you need, you must first solve the assigned clue. Once you have the answer, take the first character from this solution and place it at the correctly numbered spot in the code.
After you've solved all 13 clues, you'll have a promo code that can be redeemed for an in-game prize.

The completed promo code for the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 puzzle is - UBCJL9X6RC47A.
Sadly, if you want to receive the puzzle prizes, you had to be one of the first players to redeem the code after the release of the final clue. This fact was discovered by the users of the The Silph Road reddit.
If you were one of the lucky players who was able to redeem the code, then you would receive x2 Premium Battles Passes, x2 Super Incubators, x2 Incense, x2 Star Pieces, x30 Poké Balls, x10 Hyper Potions and x2 Lucky Eggs.
Niantic has, however, released an additional code that anyone can use - 5PTHMZ3AZM5QC - which will reward you with x10 Ultra Balls, x10 Max Revives and a Sinnoh Stone.
This promo code has a deadline of Monday, 27th July at 5pm your local time, which is the day after the end of Pokémon Go Fest 2020.

How to claim your reward for completing the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 puzzle
Once you have the solution to the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 puzzle or are using the second promo code given by Niantic, it's time to head to the rewards page on Niantic Labs.
There you'll need to sign into your Pokémon Go account and then submit the puzzle code.
Just be careful - if you input the wrong code too many times, then you'll be temporarily blocked from including any more.
Don't worry too much, however, if this does happen, because this ban will be lifted after a short amount of time.
