Capcom plans Alpha Anthology

Beat them ALL up.

Capcom in Americaland is planning to release a compilation of its Street Fighter Alpha beat-'em-ups on PS2 this summer.

The pack will be known as Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and consists of SF Alphas 1, 2 and 3, SF Alpha 2 Gold and Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix - the latter probably better known to you as Pocket Fighter.

Capcom's said that all five titles will be direct arcade conversions, so no special gubbins here, but there should still be plenty to keep fans of the 2D fighting series happy.

And if you'd rather play SF on another system, Alpha 3 Max is due on PSP on Feb 24th, and Microsoft and Capcom plan to make Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting available on Xbox 360 Live Arcade in the near future.

Plus of course, er, Street Fighter's available on virtually every system ever made. I still play the SNES SFII Turbo sometimes, but that doesn't mean I'm any good, worryingly...
