Strategy First DS range

Disciples, Jagged Alliance first.

Specialist publisher Strategy First has teamed up with handheld developer Pocket PC Studios to bring the company's range of PC titles over to the Nintendo DS.

The first games to be covered by the deal will be Disciples and a game from the Jagged Alliance franchise, with more titles expected to be announced down the line; no dates have yet been given to any of the games, however.

Pocket PC Studios is becoming something of an authority on bringing PC strategy titles over to the DS - it's already working with Paradox Interactive to bring Europa Universalis II to the handheld.

"I'm thrilled to have the chance to make both the Jagged Alliance and Disciples franchises available on the Nintendo DS platform," enthused Pro Sotos, head of biz dev for Strategy First. "The Disciples franchise is very close to my heart, and I look forward to playing it on Nintendo's newest handheld system."
