Tetris coming to Xbox 360

THQ settles legal dispute.

An Xbox 360 version of Tetris is coming to the US and Europe after THQ managed to settle its differences with The Tetris Company.

THQ launched a lawsuit against the company last year, alleging that they'd breached the contract which would have allowed the publisher to release a Nintendo DS version of Tetris.

Now the publisher's latest financial report has revealed they've reached a settlement - and as part of the deal, THQ will publish the classic puzzler for Xbox 360 in territories outside of Japan. Xbox 360 owners over there have been able to enjoy next-gen Tetris since the console launched last December.

THQ didn't win the argument when it came to Tetris DS, though - as you may recall, Nintendo released the game as a first party title back in April.
