Billy and Sonic on PC in March

SEGA ports special.

SEGA's going absolutely PC MENTAL on March 31st by the sound of it.

As you'll know if you click on things we write sometimes, SEGA's already planning to release formerly 360-exclusive shooter Condemned that day, and now we're hearing that Sonic Mega Collection Plus and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg will both be out then too.

Hatcher was previously a GameCube exclusive platformer developed by Sonic Team, and, er, elements of that remain true, but the bit about GameCube exclusivity clearly doesn't. In it, you roll eggs around growing them by mashing baddies and then eventually hatch them to collect stuff. We quite admired Hatcher back in October 2003, but you the people with money apparently didn't.

And if that's not your cup of whatever, maybe Sonic Mega Collection Plus will be - it's a compendium of Sonic games from Mega Drive and Game Gear, including Sonic the Hedgehogs 1-3, Sonic & Knuckles and others. The others aren't that exciting, sadly - and it's worth adding that this isn't Sonic Gems Collection, and thus doesn't include Saturn title Sonic CD.

So then, both are out on March 31st. Buy them or don't.
