The AOL Radio Network has launched a new station playing original soundtracks from classic games.

The Video Game Scores station plays music from Halo 2, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metroid Prime and the Final Fantasy series, amongst others.

It's designed to build on the success of previously launched Final Fantasy Radio station, which was available on the AOL Radio Network from November 03 - April 04.

The Video Game Scores station is available via the AOL music channel in the Soundtracks/Themes category. You might need to download their radio@netscape thingy.

At the time of writing, it was playing "Impregnable Fortress - Stage 7" from the Gradius V soundtrack. Ow.
