Warzone best Krig 6 loadout: Our Krig 6 class setup recommendation and how to unlock the Krig 6 explained

How to get the most out of the Krig 6 in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The Krig 6 is a rapid-fire assault rifle, and should be generally regarded as one of the better close to medium-range assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone.

In Black Ops Cold War, the Krig 6 was a solid option for close-range combat on maps like Checkmate, and now that the assault rifle has made the jump to Warzone, it's an excellent option for destroying the competition in close and mid-range locations around Verdansk, like Airport and Storage Town.

In this overview of the Krig 6, we'll be providing you with all the detailed information you need to know about the assault rifle, including the best Krig 6 attachments for the best Krig 6 class to come prepared with, and more.

As well as our overall best Warzone weapons choices, if you're looking for other loadout recommendations, we have pages on the XM4, AUG, MP5 and M16, and for owners of the latest Call of Duty game, our picks for the best guns in Black Ops: Cold War.

How to unlock Krig 6 in Warzone

Thankfully, the Krig 6 has a relatively low unlock level in Black Ops Cold War, and this same unlock level of 16 transfers directly over to Warzone, so players with even a few hours of playtime in the latter game should be near unlocking the new weapon.

If you haven't yet attained level 16 in Warzone though, you'll want to take part in some limited time events to boost your XP gains, like Plunder, as well as paying close attention to the Daily Challenges at the main Warzone menu. These are quick-fire objectives which can be completed in just a few games, or even less, and will reward you with a solid XP payout.

Best Krig 6 loadout and attachments in Warzone

Here's our best attachments that you should be bolting on to the Krig 6 when you're dropping into Verdansk.

  • Suppressor (Unlocks at level 20)
  • Kobra Red Dot (Unlocks at level 12)
  • Wire Stock (Unlocks at level 19)
  • Speed Tape (Unlocks at level 9)
  • Infiltrator Grip (Unlocks at level 15)

The Krig 6 should primarily be used as either a close or mid-range assault rifle, and so the Suppressor pick for the muzzle of the weapon makes perfect sense, concealing your shots while giving a slight penalty to effective damage range and bullet velocity.

Next, you'll want the Kobra Red Dot sight on the optics port of the Krig 6. You can switch this out for any other optic that you feel more comfortable with, but this one strikes a great balance between ranged zoom and close quarters precision.

The Wire Stock is a great option for the Krig 6, giving a nice bonus to the sprint to fire time for whenever you're caught off guard. Similarly, the Speed Tape pick for the rear grip category provides a solid boost for the aim down sight time.

Rounding out the attachments for the Krig 6 is the Infiltrator Grip in the underbarrel slot. This provides some solid boosts for your movement speed, shooting movement speed, and aim walking movement speed, really speeding up the overall mobility of the weapon.

Best Krig 6 class set up in Warzone

As for the best class items, such as equipment and Perks, that you should use to get the most out of the Krig 6.

  • Perk 1: Kill Chain (Unlocks at level 34)
  • Perk 2: Ghost (Unlocks at level 24)
  • Perk 3: Tracker (Unlocks at level 51)
  • Secondary: RPG-7 (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (Unlocks at level 30)
  • Lethal: Claymore (Unlocks at level 1)

You're going to be on the run a lot with the Krig 6 around buildings and confined spaces in Warzone, so we'd recommend going with the Ghost Perk to hide yourself from enemy UAV and Radar Drones, as well as the Heartbeat Sensor to pick up nearby enemies on your radar.

Additionally, the Kill Chain option is one of the better Perks in the entire game, increasing your chances of finding Killstreaks in Supply Boxes, while the Tracker Perk lets you see nearby enemy footprints.

For your secondary weapon, we'd recommend going with the RPG-7 for its high blast power, excellent for tearing through enemy body armor in a single hit. Rounding out the picks is the Claymore, perfect for catching aggressive enemy players off guard when they're pushing up on you.
