The Division 2 will be out by March 2019

Not too long.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be released before the end of this financial year, Ubisoft has said. So, that's before the end of March 2019.

The online shooter sequel was first announced back in March, although Ubisoft is keeping details close to its chest. We'll find out more at E3 next month.

This year Ubisoft has said it will launch three new "AAA" games before next March - The Crew 2 (coming next month), The Division 2, and an "unannounced franchise title".

Realistically, we're expecting The Division 2 in either a November or March release window - the other side of Christmas from that mystery game.

What could that mystery game be? We'd have a stab at it being the next Assassin's Creed, and another game continuing Ubisoft's adventures in the ancient world following the successful launch of AC Oranges last year.

Skull and Bones, Ubisoft's open world pirate game, will now launch next following financial year (beginning April 2019), we also learned last night.
