Silent Hills/P.T. page removes Kojima Productions' logo

Kojima Productions' logo been removed from the official Silent Hills/P.T. website.

Before and after pictures were reported by Gamespot. As you can see below, one image has logos for Kojima Productions and the Fox Engine, while the current site only contains the latter.

This isn't entirely surprising as the same thing happened to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Afterwards, Konami confirmed that it has plans to continue the Metal Gear Solid series and Kojima released a statement saying he would remain "100 per cent involved" in the production of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. But he was cagey about his future with Konami following that.

Gamespot previously reported that an anonymous source close to Kojima Productions said the studio would be terminating its relationship with Konami following the end of its contract in December. That would be well after The Phantom Pain's release in September, but long before Silent Hills' unannounced but probably very far off release.

When pressed for comment on what this means for Silent Hills' future, Konami released the following statement to Gamespot: "Konami has switched from a studio-based to a headquarters-based organisation, so [Kojima Productions] wouldn't be listed as a studio anymore. At this time, there are no additional updates to share."

As such, it's entirely possible Konami will continue production on Silent Hills sans-Kojima. Or maybe the studio and publisher will resolve their differences before their contract expires. Still, it doesn't give us a ton of faith in the project when Kojima and Konami were so adamant to confirm that MGS5's development wouldn't be influenced by this mysterious corporate restructuring, but it can't seem to offer the same reassurance about Silent Hills.
