Rage: Mutant Bash TV due tomorrow

id Software iPhones it in.

On-rails iPhone shooter Rage: Mutant Bash TV will be available on the App Store tomorrow, developer id Software has revealed.

id bossman John Carmack tweeted, "Rage mobile has been approved, it should be on the app store tomorrow morning!"

Spinning-off from id's much anticipated Rage shooter, Mutant Bash TV does pretty much what it says on the tin. You're tasked with clobbering various uglies in a TV show format.

Carmack lifted the lid on the game earlier this month explaining, "Many of the elements that made Doom Resurrection good the first time you played it hurt the replayability, for instance. Rage iOS is all action, all the time.

"I have played the game dozens of times, and testing it is still fun instead of a chore."

Sounds good to us, especially considering the asking price. It'll set you back £0.59 for the SD version or £1.19 for the HD version.

Rage proper is due next year on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell went hands-on with the gruesome shooter back in August.
