San Andreas lead actor named
And we've identified bits of the soundtrack.
The Official US PlayStation Magazine reports this month that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas lead character Carl Johnson has been voiced by Young Maylay, a relatively unknown US rapper. Maylay follows in the footsteps of Goodfellas star Ray Liotta, who voiced Tommy Vercetti in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Meanwhile, Rockstar is due to make an announcement on the game's soundtrack over the coming weeks, but has indicated that it will be holding back the full track listing until the game's release. We have heard a handful of songs in our recent demo sessions, but have been asked nicely to remove reference to them because they have not been fully confimed at this point in time.
With the game due out in Europe a month today on October 29th, expect to hear more about the soundtrack - and the game in general - in the coming weeks.
