Ubisoft has a pair of new maps available for Heroes of Might & Magic V, but you can't just download them. What do you think this is? The internet?
Instead, you have to sign up for an Ubi.com account before July 21st and opt to receive communication from Ubisoft, who will then email the maps to you before the end of the month.
Which is a novel way to force people to agree to receive email spam, certainly - but kind of flies in the face of accepted convention. Still, Ubisoft would presumably argue that they had to spend a bit of cash putting the maps together, and therefore it's not unreasonable for them to ask something of you in return.
Anyway, HOMMV came out in May and we rather liked it, so, if you're not turned off the above Internet devilry, you might want to look into it.
