Lionhead reveal teased for gamescom

Che Guevara, a choice, the number six.

Peter Molyneux is set to make an announcement at gamescom next week and Lionhead's website has been given a curious Che Guevara makeover to tease it.

Following news from Microsoft of a "special announcement" from Molyneux at the show next Wednesday, the website frontpage was swapped out for that picture of the Marxist revolutionary and the following quote:

"At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love."

The way through to the main site is to click on thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons, which take you to Followers.aspx or Subjects.aspx with red or blue colour schemes respectively.

Those with keen eyes can also make out the massive number "6" in the background next to Guevara's stylised image, although it's difficult to make out without adjusting your monitor colours.

There doesn't appear to be any further elaboration on the Lionhead site itself, but the binary choice and thumbs are evocative, to say the least, of Fable - and Lionhead has had a tough job convincing people it's not working on a sequel to its excellent action RPG of late last year.
