Kojima working on several new games

And one of them will be out this year.

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has said he's working on several games at the moment - and one of them will be released by the end of the year.

Kojima was speaking to Famitsu magazine, as translated by IGN.

Apparently he's got at least three games in the pipeline, one of which is a big deal that's should sell well in markets outside of Japan. Kojima went on to confirm he expects to get one game out within the next 12 months, and expects 2009 to be an important year.

Toshihiro Nagoshi, the man behind the Yakuza series, also appeared in the mag feature. He said he's set to announce another title currently in production later this year.

But what about Kojima? Will his next game be another instalment in the Metal Gear Solid series? Well, he's previously said he's got ideas for MGS5 - but that he wouldn't want to be involved in the project. But then he always says that.
