Gran Turismo creator races Nurburgring

And does well at gruelling 24hr event.

Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of Gran Turismo, has been racing real cars against real people in real life.

He's been zooming around the Nurburgring 24-hour race as part of a four-man team.

Kazunori Yamauchi drove the Nissan GT-R car over the finishing line, capping a time of nearly seven-and-three-quarter hours, reported DualShockers.

Finishing 36th netted the team an epic Victory in the SP 8T class.

"The Nurburgring 24 hour race was dramatic and a lot happened during the last leg," wrote Yamauchi-san on Twitter. "Class victory goes to the GT-R. Thanks a lot for the congratulatory messages. Time for the awards ceremony now."

Hasn't he got better things to do?
