GDC: Agency and DCUO next year

PS3 and PC MMOs taking their time.

John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment, revealed in a Game Developers Conference talk today that The Agency and DC Universe Online won't see release until 2010, according to Joystiq.

Neither has ever had a firm release date, so it comes as no surprise - although we were still hoping there was a chance we'd see The Agency this year.

The two games are spearheading SOE's push into genre-straddling action-MMOs , and will launch on both PC and PS3. The Agency is a tactical shooter and espionage adventure, while DC Universe does superheroics in Batman and Superman's back yard.
