Fresh Turok maps due to arrive today

PC version to follow in April.

Propaganda Games has promised to hang five fresh maps out for Turok on PSN and Xbox Live today, although we've just had a quick look and found nothing.

The Velociraptor Pack will cost 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80) or USD 4.99. It's designed to bolster the multiplayer element of the game.

Two of the five fresh scenarios are remakes: The Inconclusive Tests and A Rivalry Continues will be night-time versions of The Testing Grounds and A Heated Rivalry. Two of the others will be adversarial maps, while one will focus on co-operative play.

Disney also revealed that the PC version of Turok will be released across the US on 22nd April. There was no word on a European date, and Disney was unavailable to comment.

Keep your eyes peeled on PSN and Live today, then, because dinosaurs have sharp teeth and eat humans.

You can find out why in our Turok review.
