Awesome Games Done Quick speedrunners raise $1.5m for charity

Guy beats The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's Child dungeons blindfolded.

The Awesome Games Done Quick live video game speedrunning event has ended with an impressive $1.5m raised for charity.

AGDQ ran last week with a goal of raising $1m for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. At the time of publication, $1,528,860 had been raised from 38,806 donations as well as sales of merchandise and a themed Humble Bundle of games.

Highlights of the event include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time speedrunner Runnerguy completing all of the game's Child Dungeons blindfolded. Check it out in the video below. It's pretty impressive.
