It looks like 3dfx's latest reference drivers don't like the Codename Eagle demo which was released yesterday.

GA-Source (who have an exclusive on the demo) are suggesting that if you own a Voodoo 2 you should download these DirectX6 drivers from Diamond. If you have a Voodooo 3 you'll have to wait for a patch which should fix the problem.
