Some copies of Batman: Arkham City are shipping without the promised code to redeem the game's Catwoman DLC.
Gamers in North America have been complaining about missing codes since the game launched there earlier this week. However, it now seems the issue is affecting UK customers too.
Earlier today, a VideoGamer employee Tweeted that his copy, purchased through GameStop UK, was missing the DLC code.
When contacted for comment by Eurogamer, GameStop UK declined to comment, saying only that it was working closely with publisher Warner Bors Interatice "to rectify any issues".
Similarly, Warner hasn't commented on problems with UK copies ahead of its official release tomorrow, but did issue the following statement earlier today regarding problems in the US and Canada:
"Since Tuesday's incredibly successful launch of Batman: Arkham City in North America, our customer support team has received a very small number of calls/emails (less than 0.5 per cent of total units sold) regarding Catwoman codes either being invalid or not included in the game packaging.
"While the number of affected versions is very small, WB Games apologises for any inconvenience this has caused and we are committed to getting these issues resolved as quickly as possible.
"All who are experiencing any issues with the game are requested to contact WB Games customer service Department by calling (410) 568 - 3680 , emailing email@example.com or visiting community.batmanarkhamcity.com/support. All matters will be handled promptly."
We'll update as the story develops.
