Trackmania Turbo finally has a release date

UPDATE: Open beta announced for this week.

UPDATE 15/3/16 4.30pm Trackmania Turbo will get an open beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Ubisoft has announced.

You'll be able to try the game free of charge on either platform from 18th March at 1pm UK time until 21st March, 1pm UK, shortly before the racer's 24th March launch date.

ORIGINAL STORY 5/2/16 2.00pm Ubisoft's delayed arcade racer Trackmania Turbo will finally leave the starting grid on 24th March, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Trackmania was originally due to launch last year, but was delayed after playtesting and feedback suggested it needed more time being tuned in the pits.

The game will come with 200 pre-built tracks to master, set over four environments: International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift, Valley Down & Dirty and the all-new Rollercoaster Lagoon.

You can then construct new tracks to test yourself and others using the game's Trackbuilder tool.
