The Witcher 3 Viper gear: How to get all Viper armor and Viper sword locations
How to complete the Viper series of gear quests.
This Witcher 3 Viper set can be found within the Hearts of Stone DLC, and while it bears similar characteristics to the Serpentine weapons you found within White Orchard, it isn't a true set as you don't need them to craft these pieces.
Plus, there is a full set of armour to craft now as well as the weapons themselves.

The Witcher 3 has a vast array of different armour sets to wear. While many of these can simply be found lying around the world, the most powerful items must be crafted using diagrams you can find out in the world.
The best armours are often the Witcher School gear, each of which has a quest line associated with it. While you can always follow the quests themselves, you can also just go and pick up the diagrams anyway. Here is our guide to help you do just that.

How to get the Viper Armour
You can find these diagrams within the auction house as part of the Open Sesame quest. You'll have the chance to introduce yourself to various people, one of whom is the Countess Mignole, who just so happens to be willing to sell you these diagrams for 295 coins a piece.
To craft them, you need:

4 Wire
1 Cured Draconid Leather
Gauntlets:
2 Linen

How to get the Venomous Viper Steel Sword
This diagram is found underneath the Auction house near the end of the Open Sesame quest, once you've broken into the building later on.
Once you've fought past a trap involving some big spiders you'll enter a room where a small cut-scene will play. Defeat whoever you decide to fight after and you can find the diagram in the left-hand chest on the small raised platform.
To craft it, you need:
2 Leather Scrap
2 Dark Steel Ingots
1 Monster brain
2 Emerald Dust

How to get the Venomous Viper Silver Sword
Good news and bad news here. The good news is you can find the sword itself, and not the diagram.
The bad news is that you have to side with Olgeird von Everec during the Whatsoever a Man Soweth quest in order to get it, the choice happens as a timed choice, so pay attention. If you do so, you'll be transported to a strange place, simply follow the path ahead until you fight some enemies.
Then turn right and go over a bridge, take the left fork and go under the archway and follow the path left before you come to the next junction.
To your right will be a strange monster in front of a glowing red place, defeat it and go to said red place to claim your new sword.
