Capcom stunned the world today with the news that a Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix themed card deck is to be released for Uno on XBLA next month. Yes.

Fans of the ludicrously popular card game will be able to enhance their experience with portrait art of characters from the game on all the cards, animation of Street Fighter moves on special cards, Sagat's classic level music and an HD background of Sagat's stage from HD Remix.

According to a post on Capcom Unity, a new 'Hadoken' command card has also been added.

"[The]Hadoken card brings a whole new level of game changing dynamic to Uno. Think of it as using a super when playing Street Fighter, just when you think you're going to win, BAM!, you get hit with that card. Thank you Mr. Street Fighter, you've just turned Uno into a fierce, teeth gritting, high competition game," said the rather excitable Jimmeyrey.

Or, you could just sack Street Fighter-infected Uno and just enjoy Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix itself. It'll be out on XBLA next week, and will set you back 1200 Microsoft Points. That's GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40 in real coinage. No date for the European PSN launch of the game has been confirmed as yet.

In the meantime, check out all the lovely screenshots and videos at the Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix gamepage.
