Rocket League getting physical release on PS4, Xbox One

Footballing car game Rocket League will get a disc-based release for the first time later this year.

Rocket League: Collector's Edition is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this autumn.

The pack will contain the base game and its three major expansions so far - Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run.

Publisher 505 Games is handling distribution, and has mentioned several retailer-exclusive bonuses which are yet to be detailed.

Rocket League shot tot success last summer when it released on Steam, and PlayStation 4 as part of Sony's PS Plus offering for the month. An Xbox One edition with Halo extras arrived a few weeks ago.

12m copies have been shifted, of which at least 4m were actual sales.
