Speedball, Chaos Engine return

PC remakes due next year.

German publisher Frogster plans to remake Bitmap Brothers classics Speedball 2 and The Chaos Engine, having secured the worldwide PC rights.

Remakes of both games, for which the Bitmaps will participate in the development process, ought to be released on the beige box in 2007.

Best future-sports game ever Speedball 2 was released in the late '80s, and eventually appeared on everything from the Amiga (originally), Commodore 64 and PC to the Mega Drive and even Game Boy Advance.

The Chaos Engine turned up a few years later, but hit a similar number of formats.
