Celebi's location in New Pokémon Snap explained

Celebi will appear in the Forest course, on any Research Level, once you've completed the storyline for New Pokémon Snap.

You can find Celebi in the ruins section of the Forest course, which is the default ending for this course; simply follow the set path in the second section of foggy woods to reach this area.

Once here, you'll be able to use Celebi flying around, having the time of its life, and can make it time travel by tossing Illumina Orbs at it.

Myth of the Forest LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap explained

The Myth of the Forest LenTalk Request is the dedicated request for Celebi in New Pokémon Snap, which you'll unlock during the post-game.

To complete this request, you must head to Celebi's location in the Forest course.

Once there, you first need to hit Celebi with an Illumina Orb before traveling beneath the large tree. This, thankfully, is easy to achieve as Celebi will hover in one place shortly before you reach the tree.

Next, you need to throw a Fluffruit into the pile of apples, and Applin, which sits on the right-hand side of the path going beneath the tree. If you successfully hit Celebi with an Illumina Orb, then it will reappear and eat one of the Fluffruit you've tossed out.

After consuming the fruit, Celebi will vanish and reappear atop the pillar located to your left.

Hit this Celebi with an Illumina Orb.

Hit this Celebi, once again, with an Illumina Orb as quickly as you can to summon three more Celebis. You'll know you've done this successfully, if the Celebi atop the pillar looks upwards.

When this happens, start using the Melody Player to attract the other Celebi's down. You'll want to continue using the Melody Player, taking pictures as you do so, of all four Celebis together, which will grant you a four-star photo and complete the request.

Jirachi's location in New Pokémon Snap explained

Jirachi will appear in the Ruins course, no matter the Research Level, once you've completed New Pokémon Snap's storyline.

You'll be able to encounter it outside the ruins at the beginning of the course and, later, find it sleeping atop one of the statues inside the main part of the ruins.

Myth of the Ruins LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap explained

Myth of the Ruins is the dedicated LenTalk Request for Jirachi in New Pokémon Snap, which you'll unlock during the post-game.

To complete this request, you need to be in the Ruins course at Research Level 3. You will see a Jirachi at the beginning of this course, but, since it's not involved in this request, feel free to ignore it.

Instead, you need to wait until the main room of the Ruins, where you need to hit each golden Crystabloom with an Illumina Orb.

You should already know where these Crystablooms are, but, in case you've forgotten, they are located:

  • By the first statue, next to where the Houndoom was having a drink
  • Next to the second statue
  • Between a gap in the rocks shortly after the third statue
  • Requires hitting the Eldegoss with an Illumina Orb first to make them fly away, then you can orb the Crystabloom
  • Requires hitting the Golurk with an Illumina Orb first, waiting till it's moved slightly out of the way and then hitting the Crystabloom
  • In the middle of the other Crystablooms

As you go through this room, you'll see a Jirachi sleeping atop the third statue. The moment you see this Jirachi, start pelting it with Illumina Orbs until it wakes up and starts flying around the room.

Once you've awoken Jirachi and caused the pillar of light to appear, start using the Melody Player.

This will cause Jirachi to fly down on your left-hand side as you near the light pillar and, if you continue to use the Melody Player, Jirachi will fly around the pillar and will, eventually, come to hover to your right.

You need to keep using the Melody Player and this will cause Jirachi to perform the move Wish, which is the moment you've been waiting for. Quickly take a photo, not only gain a four-star picture of Jirachi, but complete the Myth of the Ruins LenTalk request.

Shaymin's location in New Pokémon Snap explained

Shaymin is the easiest legendary Pokémon to find in New Pokémon Snap and will most likely be the first legendary you photograph.

It's also the only legendary Pokémon which appears in three different courses, meaning you'll have ample opportunities to find and photograph it.

You can find Shaymin asleep at the end of the Park (Day) course on Research Level 3 and throughout Research Level 2 for the Park (Night) course.

It also appears in the Research Level 2 version of the Florio Nature Park Illumina Spot course, where, with some persuasion, it will ride atop Meganium's head.

To complete the Myth of the Nature Park LenTalk request in New Pokémon Snap, you need to visit the Research Level 3 version of the Park (Day) course.

Travel through the course until you reach the flower patch right at the end of the course.

First, you will need to use a Fluffruit to make Pichu jump out of the patch of blue flowers it's hiding in. Don't worry - you should be able to see it quite easily.

Once Pichu is jumping about atop the flowers, you need to hit the second Crystabloom on your right-hand side with an Illumina Orb, which is located after the small mound of earth.

This will cause Shaymin to run to the Crystabloom on your left-hand side, along with Pichu, Grookey and Scorbunny. Once they're all in place, toss an Illumina Orb on this Crystabloom and take a picture of the very happy Shaymin to complete this request.
