New Pokémon Snap - Diancie's location, Gem Royalty, Look My Way and Myth of the Cave requests explained
How to photograph the legendary jewel Pokémon.
Diancie is one of the legendary Pokémon you can photograph throughout New Pokémon Snap.
If you want to add this Pokémon to your photograph collection, then you need to know Diancie's location and exactly how to summon it.
Once you've achieved this, you'll also be able to complete three LenTalk Requests - Gem Royalty, Look My Way and Myth of the Cave.

Diancie's location Request in New Pokémon Snap explained
There are, in fact, two ways to summon Diancie in New Pokémon Snap.
Both methods, however, require you to have unlocked Research Level 3 for the Cave course, so make sure you've achieved this first.
Method One
To summon Diancie using this method, you first need to take the alternative route which will take you into the cave containing the giant crystals.
As the Neo-One lowers you into this room, you'll be able to see two Carbink and a Mawile on the floor beneath you.
Now, you need to hit each of these three Pokémon with an Illumina Orb to make them dance.
Diancie will now appear directly on their right-hand side and you'll be able to take a number of pictures. This legendary's appearance will also unlock an alternative route locoated next to the nearby Mawile.
Method Two
If you want to try the second method for summoning Diancie, then you still need to take the alternative route into the giant crystal cave and continue, without deviation, into the garden area.
As you descend into this new room, you'll be able to see four Carbink on the right-hand side of this small area. If you're having trouble seeing them, then a scan so you know their exact locations.
To summon Diancie, you need to hit all four Carbink with an Illumina Orb once to make them walk out into the path. It's a good idea to hit the nearby Crystabloom, as this should hopefully give the Illumina effect to at least one Carbink.
Once all four are out from behind the ruins, use the Melody Player and Diancie will appear on your right-hand side.
Gem Royalty LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap explained
The Gem Royatly LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap can be rather difficult to complete due to how many steps you need to complete in short time frame.
First, you need to head towards the small garden area at the end of the alternative route through the cave course. As you enter this area, you'll be able to see a rock directly in front of rock, with another sitting behind it.
You need to toss Illumina Orbs over this rock, until an Archipelago Pattern Vivillon flies out. This is very much a blind throw and may take you a number of practises to achieve.
Once this Vivillon has appeared, you need to quickly hit the four Carbink with Illumina Orbs and use the Melody Player to summon Diancie.
When Diancie has appeared, you will need to throw Illumina Orbs at it until Diancie creates a diamond, which the Carbink will rejoice in seeing.
To complete this request, you need to capture a picture of Carbink's special dance, with Diance included, after the appearance of this diamond.
Thankfully, the photo doesn't have to be of excellent quality to count towards this challenge, but, since it's quite difficult to achieve before the course ends, we recommend using Burst Mode to ensure you take the picture.
Look My Way LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap explained
While the Look My Way LenTalk Request doesn't involve taking a picture of Diancie in New Pokémon Snap, you do need to summon the legendary Pokémon to complete it.
To do so, you need to use the first method to make Diancie appear in the cave containing the giant crystals.
Once Diancie has appeared, look for the Mawile which is standing on the rock near the entrance to the next cave. It's also the one which is typically very angry at your presence.
This time, however, Mawile has been soothed by Diancie's presence allowing you to toss it a Fluffruit to eat. Now all you have to do is take a picture of it eating this fruit to complete the Look My Way request.

Myth of the Cave LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap explained
If you want to complete the Myth of the Cave LenTalk Request in New Pokémon Snap, then you need to follow the first method for summoning Diancie.
Once Diancie has appeared, simply hit it with an Illumina Orb and take a picture of the pink glow it will create afterwards.
For completing this request, you'll receive the Accessory 10 sticker, which looks like a pink Saturn.
