Mafia 2 due to arrive by August

Some time in Q3, says Take-Two boss.

The sequel to action adventure effort Mafia is slated for a release by the start of August next year.

That's according to Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick. He was speaking during an investors' call, as overheard by Joystiq.

Zelnick said Mafia 2 is "scheduled to fall in our third quarter" - which means some time between 1st May and 31st July. The game is in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
