Lego Pixar's Incredibles, DC Comics villains games in development

Super.

Lego games themed around Pixar's The Incredibles 2 and DC's roster of comic book villains are both in development at TT Games.

Word of the titles first broke yesterday on Comicbook.com. Eurogamer has subsequently heard from its own sources that the report is accurate.

Both games are expected to arrive this year, which will of course also see the release of The Incredibles 2 in June. Physical Lego sets for The Incredibles 2 are due to launch around the same time.

Eurogamer sources close to the studio indicate the game will cover the story of both Incredibles films, and include more than a few nods to other famous Pixar franchises.

It is the first Lego video game to be based around a Pixar franchise, although not the first Lego Disney game (Lego Pirates of the Caribbean was great, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens was good but a bit thin on source material).

Also due this year is TT Games' latest DC Comics tie-in, following a trilogy of Lego Batman launches. Instead of a fourth Batman-fronted title, TT Games is making a game which stars a large cast of DC baddies, Eurogamer understands, so expect to see The Joker, Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn and more.

Lego games publisher Warner Bros. declined to comment when contacted.

Last year, Eurogamer broke word of the sad but expected cancellation of toys-to-life franchise Lego Dimensions after two years worth of support.
