Fall Guys will create crossover skins for developer donations to Special Effect
Warframe, Rivals of Aether currently in lead.
Indie battle royale Fall Guys has said it will create a crossover skin for the company which donates the most to UK games charity Special Effect.
Developer Mediatonic threw down the gauntlet yesterday evening, and there are already several interested parties.
The competition follows crossover skins for Hotline Miami and Team Fortress 2 already appearing in PS4 and Steam versions of the game, respectively.
"The thirst from brands has been unreal," Fall Guys' excellent Twitter account noted last night, "so we're turning it into something positive! Prize: Your brand inside Fall Guys as a costume! To enter: Reply to this tweet with the highest amount of money you would be willing to donate to Special Effect."
Special Effect is a UK-based charity which provides access to games, consoles and modded accessories for people with disabilities. It's a great cause.
Current big bidders include indie fighting game Rivals of Aether, which created this concept art to go along with its $10k pledge:
Greetings Fall Guys brand.

It is I, Rivals of Aether brand.
I will donate $10,000 to @SpecialEffect if you put Ranno into your falling humanoid game.
Thank you for your brand time. pic.twitter.com/SaJUxvaIXO
Leading the bidding so far is Warframe, which has pledged $20k for it and Rivals of Aether to make the cut - a lovely gesture.
The Lotus is throwing her helmet into the ring... but she'd like company!

Add both @playwarframe and @rivalsofaether for $20k? #supportindiedevs 🎨@blazingcobalt pic.twitter.com/GrpY4A1GDt
Bidding will remain open for two weeks, and Fall Guys has promised to "yeet" and disregard any bids from offensive or unsuitable brands. (One adult video game provider has already seen a $110k bid binned.)
We'll keep an eye on how it goes.
